Data sources

The dataset currently shipped with this site is a synthetic sample generated deterministically for development and demonstration. It follows the game's rules (1–49, six main numbers plus a bonus) but is not real draw history.

To publish real data, replace data/lotto-649/source/seed.csv with a real source CSV and run npm run ingest. The pipeline validates every row, deduplicates by draw date, recomputes derived statistics, and fails the run if integrity checks do not pass.

Each canonical draw records its source identifier and import time, and dataset metadata includes coverage dates and a checksum of the canonical store.
